Lucknow, 12 September : Pragya Singh, a talented Class VII student of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I, brought laurels to the institution by bagging a Gold medal and a Silver medal in District Taekwondo Championship held at Nehru Yuva Kendra, Chowk. This championship was organized under the aegis of Subraj Taekwondo Academy in which students from various reputed schools of Uttar Pradesh participated. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma informed that Pragya of CMS bagged the gold in Poomse competition and Silver in Kyourgi while playing in under 47 kg in sub-junior girls’ category. Amidst tough competition, Pragya displayed tremendous stamina and skills and earned Gold and Silver medals proving her ability to raise the name of Lucknow on national and international front. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi expressed happiness on this wonderful achievement of Pragya and wished her a bright future ahead.
Mr Sharma informed that excellence at CMS is not just limited to academics. CMS students are also making their mark at national and international levels in sports, music, dance, and various other fields.
