Lucknow, March 26: Addressing the large gathering of parents at the Divine Education Conference organized by City Montessori School, Indira Nagar Campus at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium, the Chief Guest, Mr Pawan Kumar, IAS, Director, Social Welfare Department, UP, called upon the parents and teachers to join hands for the character building of younger generation. He further stated that our rich cultural heritage believes in Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam and we must imbue the seeds of this concept in the young minds of our children. We need to nurture the young generation as world citizens who can bring about peace, unity and prosperity in society, he added. Ahead of this, the Chief Guest, Shri Pawan Kumar, IAS, inaugurated the Divine Education Conference by lighting the lamp of learning and honoured the meritorious students of the school.
CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi while welcoming the Chief Guest and other eminent guests and parents, emphasized that CMS is committed to develop its students as ‘Total Quality Persons’. The programme began with School Prayer, All Religion and World Unity Prayer. It was not just the students who thrilled the audience with an array of devotional-cultural items, but their mothers too who participated enthusiastically in songs and dance programmes keeping the audience enthralled. At the end of the function, the Principal of CMS Indira Nagar Campus, Mrs Ruchi Bhuvan Joshi expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards the parents and guardians.
