Over 230 Chief Justices and Judges from 63 countries arriving at Lucknow for Chief Justices’ Confer

Lucknow, 22 October : The 5-day International Conference of Chief Justices of the World (ICCJW-2023) is all set for a magnificent opening on 3rd November 2023 at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Presidents, Prime Ministers, Speaker of Parliament, Members of Parliament, Judges of International Court of Justice, Netherlands, along with over 230 Chief Justices, judges and legal luminaries from 63 countries are arriving here at Lucknow to participate in this historic conference. Mr Abdessatar Ben Moussa, 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate from Tunisia is also registering his benign present in this conference. This information was given by the Convener of the Conference, renowned educationist and CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi at a press conference held here today.

            Dr Gandhi informed that several eminent personalities like Hon’ble Chief Minister of UP, Shri Yogi Adityanath; Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya; Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Brajesh Pathak; Finance Minister of UP, Shri Suresh Khanna and many others have been invited to register their benign presence in this mega conference. Apart from this, the eminent dignitaries from around the globe registering their presence at this historic conference include Hon’ble Mr Marie Cyril Eddy Boissezon, Vice-President, Mauritius; Hon’ble Mr Stjepan Mesic, Ex-President, Croatia; Hon’ble Mr Anthony Thomas Aquinas Carmona, Ex-President, Trinidad & Tobago; Hon’ble Mr Teburoro Tito, Ex-President, Republic of Kiribati; Hon’ble Mr Jocelerme Privert, Ex-President, Haiti; Hon’ble Mr Jean-Henry Ceant, Ex-Prime Minister, Haiti; Hon’ble Dr Pakalitha B. Mosisili, Ex-Prime Minister, Lesotho; Hon’ble Mr Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Speaker of the Parliament, Ghana; Hon’ble Mr Justice Leonardo Brant, Judge, International Court of Justice, Netherlands and many others.

            Releasing the detailed programme of this conference, Dr Jagdish Gandhi informed that the Chief Justices and eminent personalities will arrive at New Delhi on 1st November and will visit Agra to see the Taj Mahal. They will pay floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat on 2nd November and hold the first session of the conference at Constitutional Club, New Delhi. The Chief Guest on this occasion will be Ms Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, Govt. of India. These eminent dignitaries will also visit to Rashtrapati Bhawan to have a light refreshment. The distinguished guests will arrive in Lucknow on the morning of 3rd November 2023. Dr Gandhi expressed hope that this significant conference will prove to be a path breaker and yield bountiful results for the world’s 2. 5 billion children as well as the generations yet to be born, promising a bright future ahead.
