Lucknow, August 3: City Montessori School is organizing a grand Meritorious Students’ Felicitation Function tomorrow on Friday, 4th August at 10.00 am at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Minister of Finance, UP, Shri Suresh Khanna will be the Chief Guest on this occasion. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that the meritorious students who have topped in the ICSE Inter-Campus Comparative Exams will be honoured at this function. The mother of the topper student will also be weighed in fruits and flowers while the father and teacher-guardian will be honoured with Shawls in a ceremonial way. Students who have won laurels in national and international level contests will also be felicitated at this grand function.

             Mr Sharma informed that prior to the ‘Meritorious Students’ Felicitation Function, thousands of students of City Montessori School will be taking out a huge ‘Character Building March’ tomorrow on Friday, 4th August. The ‘Character Building March’ will commence at 7.30 am from Purani Chungi, Kanpur Road and culminate into a huge assembly on reaching CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. This huge March of CMS students is convened with the objective to create awareness about good character and moral uplifting of the young generation. CMS Founders, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi and CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon will lead the March. It will be graced by several eminent personalities as well as the Principals of various CMS Campuses.
