Deputy Chief Minister Mr Brajesh Pathak honours CMS ISC and ICSE Toppers

Lucknow, 31 July : A grand Meritorious Students’ Felicitation Function was organized at City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I here this evening, in which the Deputy Chief Minister of UP, Mr Brajesh Pathak, honoured the All India position holders of ISC and ICSE Board Examination and awarded cash prizes of Rs One Lakh each with All India first position holder of ISC (Class XII) Aryaan Tariq (99.75%) getting Rs two lakh. All the rest of the students who had secured marks from 99% to 99.75% marks in ISC and ICSE Board Examinations 2023 were honoured with prize cheques of Rs one lakh each. All India 2nd position holder in ISC, Arpita Singh, (99.50%), 4th position holders in ISC, Aditya Prabhakar and Mansi Mishra (both 99%) were honoured with prize-cheques of Rs one lakh each. Similarly in ICSE, All India 4th position holders Nikhil Saxena and Anshika Srivastava (both 99.40%) were honoured with prize-cheques of Rs one lakh each. Thus, a total of 6 ISC and ICSE meritorious students were honoured with prize-cheques of Rs 7 lakh for their astounding achievements in the Board Exams this year. As is customary in CMS, the mothers of the topper students were weighed in fruits and flowers and fathers and teacher-guardians received Shawls of Honour.

            Addressing the students, the Chief Guest, Mr Brajesh Pathak said that CMS has a rich treasure of brilliant students who are endowed with immense talent. These students are earning name and fame for their motherland year after year, both in India as well as abroad. He expressed his happiness that this celebration will go a long way to inspire the younger generation.  CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that the marvellous and record breaking achievement of the CMS students was largely due to the dedication and motivation of the CMS teachers and the hard work of the students. CMS President Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon expressed pride and joy in the success of the students who were unsurpassable in academic as well as co curricular activities and were creating waves with their amazing accomplishments. On this occasion, CMS students presented a spectacular educational-cultural programme which made the spectators tap tap to the rhythmic beat of the music and dance. The honouring ceremony inspired one and all and the cultural items received loud applause and clapping. Senior Principal of CMS Rajajipuram I, Mrs Nisha Pandey expressed her gratitude towards the parents and guardians for their participation and cooperation in school activities.
