Lucknow, 15 September : Talented swimmers of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus One surpassed all others and swam their way to victory winning the overall championship at Inter-School Swimming Competition and thus bringing name and fame to their institution. The competition was organized under the aegis of Northwest Sports Academy in which over 450 students participated. With a tally of 9 gold medals, three silver medals and 2 bronze medals, the swimming team of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I proudly lifted the Overall Championship Trophy. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of City Montessori School, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that Sheetanshu Gautam and Ayan Yadav, both won three golds each whereas Shiv Jaiswal, Yash Tripathi and Udisha Singh won one gold medal each in different categories. Besides these, CMS students were also rewarded with 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals. Sheetanshu Gautam and Ayan Yadav were awarded Best Swimmer titles in under 19 and under 17 categories respectively. CMS Founder-Manager, Dr Jagdish Gandhi praised the swimmers profusely and wished them luck for more accolades in future.
Mr Sharma said that CMS students are all-rounders bringing honour to their school and their country by their excellent showing in various national and international level competitions. CMS encourages and prepares these students to compete in a healthy competitive spirit. These students are contributing actively to uplifting society by working on socio-economic projects at ground level and becoming role models for other students.
