Lucknow, May 25 : City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus is buzzing with Summer Camp and Junior Youth Empowerment Programme (JYEP) activities. Under this programme, the junior classes (Classes VII and VIII), are giving moral education lessons to the pre-primary children and teaching them about moral conduct and prayerfulness. Both the teacher and the taught are benefitting from this activity and enjoying it. They are learning about “God the Creator” and “Love and Conscience” which include knowledge about the mineral kingdom, vegetable kingdom, animal kingdom and human kingdom all created by God almighty. They also gained knowledge about the Manifestations of God, the Holy Books and sang hymns in praise of God. The popular song “If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands” was sung with great enthusiasm by the little ones. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of City Montessori School, Mr Hari Om Sharma.
Mr Sharma said that these kind of activities fill the students with self-motivation and they also learn good thoughts, ideas, values, tradition and behaviour from their peers. CMS believes that such programmes tap the hidden potential of kids leading to their all-round development. Mr Sharma further informed tha all the 21 CMS Campuses are involved in summer Camps and JYEP activities through which children are picking up essential skills and also developing their hobbies like music, dance, aerobics, reading skills, art and craft, painting and sports.
