International Children’s Film Festival (ICFF-2023) begins at CMS

Lucknow, April 10 : World’s biggest International Children’s Film Festival (ICFF-2023) organized by the Film’s and Radio Division of City Montessori School began here today at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Shri Brajesh Pathak inaugurated the ICFF-2023. The festival swung high on popularity charts with the august presence of well known film actor Shri Sudesh Berry and Director and Scriptwriter Ms Jyoti Kapur Das. The presence of large gathering of approximately 10,000 students and VIP guests at the first show of the International Children’s Film Festival proved its immense popularity among the students. ICFF-2023 is being organized from 10 to 18 April at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. The festival has the dual purpose of instilling human and divine values in children as well as providing healthy entertainment to them after their Annual Examinations.

            While inaugurating the ICFF-2023, the Chief Guest, Shri Brajesh Pathak said that audio-visual media leaves a great impact on the minds of children. In this festival, good, value-based films are shown leading to moral upliftment of children. Expressing his delight, he further said that this International Children’s Film Festival is a big step in imparting good  human values to children. He congratulated CMS for this wonderful event. Ahead of this, CMS Founders Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Dr Bharti Gandhi and CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon welcomed the eminent guests, film celebrities and students. After the inaugural function, the ICFF-2023 opened with the screening of an American film, ‘Bertie, The Brilliant’ directed by Gabriela Garcia Medina. This film highlights the struggles and courage of a child.
